EarlyForge offers five plans: Free, Starter, Pro, Scale, and Enterprise. They share the same core platform — real-time trend detection, AI article generation with inline citations, and publishing — and differ in quotas, collaboration, and enterprise controls.
How AI generation is priced
This is the most important thing to understand before you choose a plan:
- Every plan gets a monthly AI word budget, generated on EarlyForge's AI. No setup, no AI account needed. It's plan-aware: Free 5,000 · Starter 10,000 · Pro 25,000 · Scale 50,000 words/month, and custom on Enterprise. The budget covers all AI work — article generation, the AI editor, and autocompletion — not just whole articles (~700–1,000 words is about one article).
- Beyond your word budget, connect your own AI key for unlimited generation. You pay your AI provider directly for what you use, and there is no cap from EarlyForge.
Connecting your own AI key (BYOK) is available on paid plans only. On the Free plan, you get a 5,000-word budget per month and then upgrade to keep generating. See Connect your AI for the full walkthrough.

Quotas are shared across your workspace
Your plan covers your whole team: invited members work under your subscription at no cost to them, and all quotas (AI words, articles, briefs, alerts) are a shared pool for the workspace — not per-person allowances. Viewers are always free and unlimited.
One subscription, every workspace you create
Your plan follows you, not a single workspace. The workspaces you create — your personal workspace and any team/brand workspaces — all run on your plan's features at no extra charge. Your plan's included team members are a single pool you distribute across your workspaces (Pro 3, Scale 5), and on Scale you add more at €10/seat/month. How many team workspaces you can create depends on your plan (Free & Starter: personal only; Pro: 1; Scale: 3; Enterprise: unlimited) — but joining workspaces created by others is always unlimited. Trends unlocked / day is the main thing that scales with your plan. Every trend stays visible in your lists, but trends beyond your daily quota are blurred with an upgrade prompt until the next day. Quotas reset on your billing-cycle date and do not roll over.
Who should choose which plan
Free — €0
For trying EarlyForge end-to-end. You get a 5,000-word monthly AI budget (roughly 5–7 articles), one publishing site, the top 20 trends, and 20 trends unlocked per day — enough to see the full flow from trend to published article before committing. The Free plan cannot connect its own AI key; upgrade when you need more than your word budget.
Starter — €49/mo
For solo creators, indie bloggers, and niche publishers. A 10,000-word monthly AI budget plus unlimited generation once you connect your AI key, the AI editor, royalty-free images, basic SEO optimization, 2 sites, 5 configurable alerts / month, and 200 trends unlocked per day.
Pro — €149/mo ⭐
For content agencies and SEO teams. Everything in Starter plus real-time collaboration, advanced SEO/GEO optimization, scheduled publishing, 5 sites, 15 configurable alerts / month, 500 trends unlocked per day, and a team of up to 3 members with 3 roles.
Scale — €299/mo
For newsrooms, PR agencies, and multi-site publishers. Everything in Pro plus 15 sites, 50 configurable alerts / month, unlimited trends unlocked per day, 5 team members included (additional seats unlimited at €10/month each, billed from the next cycle), 5 roles, and priority support (8-hour email response + chat).
Enterprise — custom
For large media, funds, and government. Everything in Scale plus single sign-on (OIDC / SAML), SCIM directory sync, custom quotas, an enterprise SLA available on request, and a dedicated Slack channel with a customer success manager. Contact sales for a quote.

What happens when I reach my word limit without my own key?
On a paid plan, generation shows a clear "connect your AI to continue" prompt instead of failing — connect a key once and you can keep generating with no cap. On the Free plan, you upgrade to a paid plan to continue.
Do unused words or quotas roll over?
No. Monthly quotas reset on your billing-cycle date and do not carry over to the next month.
Can I switch plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing; downgrades take effect at the end of the current period. See Manage subscription.
How is Enterprise priced?
