Manage sites

A site is an independent content destination inside a workspace. Each one has its own categories, output languages, style guide, publishing destinations, briefs, and published articles. Sites are fully isolated from one another, so you can run several distinct publications side by side without their settings or content mixing.

Sites are created by you, when you need them

A new account (or a new workspace) starts with no sites — "My Sites" is empty until you create one. Nothing is auto-created for you.

A site is required for briefs and publishing, but optional for articles. You can write a standalone article without a site (it lives in your workspace). As soon as you want to run briefs, schedule content, or publish, create a site first — those are attached to a site. If you try without one, EarlyForge tells you to create a site first.

Create a new site

Open the sites page

Click Sites in the sidebar.

Start a new site

Click New site.

Configure the site

Fill in the details:

  • Name — a display name for the publication (for example "TechPulse" or "HealthWatch")
  • Categories — the topics this site covers
  • Languages — the output languages for its articles (28 supported)
  • Default tone — the default writing tone for generated articles

Save

Click Create site. It appears in your sites list, ready for content.

Edit a site

  1. Open Sites and select the site.
  2. Update any settings — name, categories, languages, or other options.
  3. Click Save.

Changes apply to all future articles and briefs. Existing content is not affected.

Delete a site

  1. Open Sites and select the site.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and click Delete site.
  3. Type the site name to confirm, then click Delete.

Deleting a site is permanent. It removes all of that site's articles, briefs, publishing connections, and style-guide settings. Export anything you want to keep first.

What each site includes

Every site is a self-contained workspace with its own:

ResourceDescription
ArticlesAll generated and manually created articles
BriefsBrief configurations and scheduled automations
Style guideTone, length, structure, and writing rules
Publishing destinationsWordPress, Ghost, Blogger, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, LinkedIn, Dev.to, Hashnode, Medium, Zapier, Next.js Direct
WebhooksSigned event callbacks to your own integrations

Trend detection is global — every site can see worldwide trends. Sites differ by the categories and languages you choose, not by geography.
