Connect Webflow

Publish EarlyForge articles as Webflow CMS collection items with a site API token.

Connect Webflow

EarlyForge creates a CMS collection item for every article — name, slug, rich-text body, summary, image and SEO fields mapped to your collection.

Prerequisites

  • A Webflow site with a CMS collection containing at least a Name and a Rich text field

Connect your collection

Generate an API token

In Webflow, open your site settings → Apps & integrationsAPI access, and generate a token with the CMS: read & write scope. Copy it.

Collect the two IDs

  • Site ID — visible in the Webflow Designer URL after /design/, or in site settings → General.
  • Collection ID — open your CMS collection → Settings → the Collection ID is displayed there.

Add the connection in EarlyForge

Go to Connectors → Webflow CMS → Add a site, paste the API Token, Site ID and Collection ID, and click Connect site.

Draft or live

Items are created as staged drafts by default — publish them from the Webflow Editor. Turn on Publish Live to push items straight to your live site.

Tags, canonical URL and the public URL pattern are configurable under Advanced options — including creating missing tag items automatically in a referenced Tags collection.
