Connect Wix
Publish EarlyForge articles to your Wix Blog with an account API key.
Connect Wix
Publish articles to your Wix site's blog. EarlyForge converts your article to Wix's native rich-content format — headings, paragraphs and source links included.
Prerequisites
- A Wix site with the Wix Blog app installed
Connect your site
Generate an API key
Go to manage.wix.com/account/api-keys and click Generate API Key. Name it EarlyForge and grant the Wix Blog permission (or All site products). Copy the key (IST.…).
Find your Site ID
Open your site's dashboard — the URL looks like manage.wix.com/dashboard/a1b2c3d4-…/home. The GUID after /dashboard/ is your Site ID.
Add the connection in EarlyForge
Go to Connectors → Wix Blog → Add a site, paste the API Key and the Site ID, and click Connect site.
Draft or live
Articles arrive as drafts in your Wix Blog dashboard by default — review and publish from Wix, or enable Publish Immediately in the connection settings.
Wix requires every post to be attributed to a site member. EarlyForge finds one automatically from your site's member list — no action needed in most cases. If publishing fails asking for a member, add one under Site Members in your Wix dashboard, or set the Author member ID manually under Advanced options.
